Terms and privacy notice

Version 2026-07-01. This is a preliminary notice; the full plain-language version is being completed with our data privacy solicitor and will replace this page.

Myna connects your child with vetted, qualified teachers for live online classes. You, the parent, hold the account and give consent; a child never registers themselves.

What we collect about your child

The least that teaching needs: their first name, their class (their grade), the year they were born, and an avatar colour. We do not collect their full date of birth, address, or photo. Their sign-in PIN is stored only in a protected, unreadable form.

How it is protected

Children's details are kept separately from adult account data with access controls enforced by the database itself. Every time a child's profile is opened by an adult, that access is recorded in a permanent log. There is no third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising anywhere your child goes.

Your consent

We record what you consented to and which version of this notice you saw. You can withdraw consent at any time from your account settings; withdrawing means your child stops having classes with Myna and we remove their details, keeping only what the law asks us to keep.
